Brandeis University’s 2021 Business, Consulting & Finance Virtual Career Fair is next week! Register now to attend group and one-on-one sessions with top employers. Spots fill up so don’t delay.
On September 15th, we will be hosting our annual Business, Consulting & Finance Virtual Career Fair. This event will have the highest concentration of businesses and organizations in these industries of any event we host this academic year. It is a great way to engage with both large, established corporations, as well as smaller, new companies that are on the cutting edge of these industries in regards to technology and innovation. We strongly encourage you to attend!
HOW TO REGISTER
Follow this link to register. Once you are registered, you will need to sign up for the sessions you want to attend. There are a combination of group sessions and one-on-one sessions with different organizations. Each company has set up their preferred method of engagement and you can select what sessions you would like to attend once you register. Handshake will ensure you do not accidentally sign up for multiple sessions in the same time slot.
WHAT TO EXPECT
On the day of the event, come prepared to have your camera on, dressed professionally, and ready to engage with the organizations with whom you have sessions. Be attentive, answer questions when asked and be ready to network! You never know when you are speaking to the person who is equipped to help you identify and secure the internship or job that you are truly looking for. Learning more about company culture, work life balance and general company information will equip you to be a strong applicant when applying for jobs and internships even outside the company you may be engaging with at the present moment.
ADDITIONAL WAYS TO PREPARE
Be sure to engage with your career coach prior to the event if you feel the need for additional preparation for the fair. Making sure your resume is error free, ensuring you have topical and appropriate questions to ask and general knowledge of what to expect are just a few of the ways your career coach can help make sure this event is effective and efficient for you.
