Welcome to the Accelerated MA Community!

My name is Jennifer Voldins, and I am a Senior Associate Director of Career Strategies and Engagement at the Brandeis School of Business and Economics. I look forward to working with you throughout your time at Brandeis and beyond.

Before joining Brandeis, I spent many years working in the foreign exchange and global fixed income markets in roles spanning sales/trading, research, banking, and portfolio management. I have worked at firms including Barclays, BNY Mellon, TCW Group, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I have also contributed questions for the CFA Society Boston’s Level III practice exam.

Launching your Global Career in Economics and Finance

Success at the intersection of global markets and policy requires a sophisticated blend of quantitative rigor and strategic insight. The MA curriculum is designed to sharpen your expertise in data analytics and economic modeling, while CSE resources empower you with the professional agility needed to lead in a globalized economy.

Because the recruitment timeline for international organizations, research institutions, and multinational firms moves quickly, I partner with you early on to refine your professional narrative. From optimizing your LinkedIn and Handshake profiles to conducting technical mock interviews, we ensure you are prepared to articulate your value to top-tier employers.

Our MA graduates are employed across almost every industry, and I encourage you to dive into our Career Communities to discover specialized insights and opportunities across diverse sectors.

Beyond the classroom, student-led organizations are vital for bridging the gap between theory and practice. Engaging with these clubs allows you to collaborate with peers and connect with our global alumni network:

To meet with me, including for résumé reviews or mock interviews, please schedule an appointment through Handshake.
