Accelerated MA

Welcome to the Accelerated MA Community!

Here you’ll find resources such as articles, job and internship opportunities, events and career inspiration tailored to Accelerated MA students.

My name is Marcia Katz and I am the Career Coach for the Accelerated MA program and the Director of Career Development and Alumni Engagement at Brandeis International Business School. I am looking forward to meeting you and partnering with you in your career discovery. I hope to connect with you soon.

I have been working in the Career Center at the International Business School for 20 years. Prior to that, and after receiving my MBA, I worked as an audit supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand, now PWC, and taught graduate business courses at Simmons University and Lesley University. I also was a consultant with the Boston Management Consortium, working for change at the Boston Public Library and the Boston Police Department. At Brandeis, I originated and developed the Launching Your Global Career Course.

I encourage you to meet with me so I can get to know you and, therefore, better advise you! I understand that you have the experience and knowledge, and have put in the thought, to choose and to make the most of this accelerated degree. I invite you to now take full advantage of the services at the International Business School to enhance your academic knowledge and expand your career opportunities. Be sure to read the weekly CSE Newsletter completely and carefully. There you will be kept abreast of all of the events, job postings and resources available at the International Business School and beyond. Join clubs formed around your interests, where you will become acquainted with your fellow students who are your first line of offense in your job search! Some clubs that may be of interest include:

I also encourage you to visit the Career Communities section of this site to access more information on industries such as Finance, Economics, Consulting, Marketing, Real Estate and more!
