Internship Awards Eligibility
- Applicants must be enrolled in a program at Brandeis International Business School and in good academic and community standing.
- Applicants must be applying for internship stipends, startup funding or research grants.
- The opportunity must be unpaid, take place over the summer and be for graduate-level work.
- Applicants need to have accepted the unpaid internship before applying.
- Applicants must meet the April 25th application deadline to be considered (no exceptions).

International Students
- International students must be authorized to work in the United States. For more information, visit the Internship Reporting and Registration Form on the Student Portal.
- If funded, payment will require any student residing on US soil to have a social security number.
- Additionally, any student residing on US soil or interning for a US company may be subject to state and federal taxes. Please be aware that, if funded, the award amount issued is a pre-tax amount.
- International students must discuss their plans with their program advisor and ISSO to make sure they are in compliance with course and CPT requirements.

Funding
- All awards are issued through our Student Payroll System.
- Any student residing on US soil and/or interning for a US company, may be subject to state and federal taxes.
- If funded, the award amount issued will be a pre-tax amount.
- Any student residing on US soil will need to provide a Social Security Number and fill out a direct deposit form in Workday by June 1, 2021.
- Funding amounts may vary and funding is not guaranteed. If funded, students can expect to receive an average of $1,000.

Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance Summer Research Grants
- Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance Summer Research Grants are for PhD students only.
- The application deadline for all Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance Summer Research Grants is April 15, 2021 (no exceptions).
- PhD students must submit the following: Resume, Research Proposal, Faculty Advisor Recommendation, Deliverables, Deliverables Summary (please see the application for more detail).
