THE CROWN IS YOURS
As an Analyst I, you’ll drive strategy at DraftKings through the generation of actionable insights and power fact-based decision-making across the business with predictive modeling. We are looking for an Analyst to help improve and maintain our predictive models to forecast future business revenue and inform marketing & operational strategy across DraftKings’ product verticals including Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), Sportsbook, and Casino.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN ANALYST I
Develop predictive models to forecast customer play and business revenue.
Perform deep-dive analyses to surface operational insights.
Develop automated tools and Tableau dashboards that help the business understand the impact of our products and promotions.
Collaborate with various business divisions to analyze data, interpret findings, and propose actions.
Operationalize model outputs so that they can be utilized by other groups throughout DraftKings.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, MIS, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field).
At least 1 year of business analytics or data science experience, in a work or academic setting.
Knowledge of statistical methods, predictive modeling (e.g. OLS, Logistic regression, etc), data analysis, and working with large datasets.
Knowledge of SQL/Snowflake, Python, and Tableau.
Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Excellent ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Curiosity to learn about a complex business and a desire to grow as an analyst.
