Analytics Speed Networking Event

Calling all students interested in data and business analytics! Join us for the opportunity to practice your networking skills with alumni in field. Engage in brief, small group conversations with Boston-area alumni and friends of the university, who work in roles related to your subject-matter interest.

Each speed networking round will last eight minutes. During that time, you will get the chance to interact with the alumnus or alumna at your table, ask for feedback on your elevator pitch, inquire about their academic and professional career paths, or simply practice your small talk skills. When the buzzer rings, move on to the next person!

EVENT DETAILS:

This event will involve approximately 12 alumni. Students will rotate in groups of 2 or 3. The CSE will provide support and guidance both before and during the event. This will include sharing alumni names and sample questions in advance. There will be time for open networking at the end of the event.

Timeline:

4:00 – 4:15 pm: Check-in in the the World Court

4:15 – 4:30 pm: Introduction and event reminders

4:30 – 5:30 pm: Speed networking 

5:30 – 6:00 pm: Open networking

No-show policy: Due to the limited space for this event, the Career Strategies & Engagement Center (CSE) “No-Show” Policy will be strictly enforced. If you are no longer able to attend this event, you must email globalcareers@brandeis.edu at least 24 hours before the event begins.

This event is open to students at School of Business and Economics.
