Hack for Human Impact

Join us on Saturday, November 15, WPI and Holy Cross will host Hack for Human Impact — a one-day innovation sprint where engineering and liberal arts students join forces to turn civic data into human-centered solutions. Supported by the Massachusetts AI Hub, Worcester’s CTO, state leadership, alumni, and industry partners, the event marks a first-of-its-kind collaboration that brings together technical expertise, ethical perspective, and civic purpose to shape the future of responsible AI and data use in Massachusetts.

All experience levels and students in other majors are more than welcome to participate! Please register using the link below!

Highlights:

  • Apply your skills in cross-disciplinary teams

  • Present directly to faculty experts from WPI and Holy Cross, alumni, government, and industry leaders

Faculty and Industry Mentors: We expect engagement from Sabrina Mansur (Director of the Massachusetts AI Hub), Secretary Snyder (CTO for the Commonwealth), Gabriela Alexa Torres (Sundai Club), Michael Hamill (CTO for the City of Worcester), Shauna Conway (SG+I, HC ’04), and alumni/industry leaders.
