Investment Analyst Position – Weber Capital Management
Weber Capital Management is an institutional hedge fund focused on deep fundamental research on small public stocks. Founded in 1994, the firm invests in concentrated long-only portfolios of small technology, healthcare, and industrial companies.
Analyst Position: The analyst will primarily work on managing the existing portfolio of investments, as well as sourcing new ideas. The analyst will get direct mentorship from the Portfolio Manager in all aspects of the firm, including investments, fund raising, operations, and compliance. Responsibilities include meetings with company management teams, reviewing quarterly earnings calls and SEC filings like 10-Ks and 10-Qs, writing internal investment memos, and tracking existing portfolio positions. This position is for someone who is smart, willing to work hard, detail-oriented, and has a deep intellectual curiosity about business and the financial markets. Partner track position.
Location: Boston area, MA
Requirements: Strong academic record from a leading university, with relevant internship/work experience.
Compensation: Competitive compensation with entry-level buy-side roles; includes base salary and discretionary bonus.
