Welcome New Students! Get to Know CSE Connect

Somehow, the summer is almost over and it’s Back-t0-School time once again. For business school students, that often means moving to a new city; learning the ins and outs of campus life; meeting the peers, staff and faculty who will be by your side the next two years; and embracing a whole lot of change. It’s an exciting time, but also a busy one.

As you navigate orientation and the start of class, know that the entire Brandeis community is here to support and guide you. While we’ll share A LOT of information with you over the next few weeks, we don’t expect you to memorize and remember every detail. When it comes to career advice and preparation from the Career Strategies and Engagement Center (CSE), for instance, a lot of what we share in these early days can also be found on our student-facing CSE website: CSE Connect!

Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with CSE Connect to access program and industry specific resources, jobs, events and tools to help you along the way. Highlights include:

Program Communities

Every degree program at Brandeis International Business School has it’s own Program Community page on CSE Connect. These pages include information about your Career Coach and other community experts; resources (think resume template and cover letter guides, neworking advice, forms you need to access and more) specific to your program, events you may be interested in attending, and blogs that relate to your degree.

Career Communities

As you start exploring different industries and career paths, Career Communities can help you learn more about a specific field. These pages feature Forage job simulations, career resource videos, Community Spotlight alumni profiles and more. They’re a great way to learn more about different industries and start forming ideas about what career path you might want to pursue.
