Welcome to the MSF Community!
Here you’ll find resources such as articles, job and internship opportunities, events and career inspiration tailored to Master of Science in Finance (MSF) students.
My name is Jennifer Voldins and I am an Associate Director in Career Strategies and Engagement. I work as the Career Coach for the MSF Program. I look forward to partnering with you throughout your time at the International Business School and beyond!
I worked in the foreign exchange and global fixed income markets for many years in a variety of positions, including sales and trading, research, banking and portfolio management. Firms where I have worked include Barclays, BNY Mellon, TCW Group and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I have also worked for the CFA Society Boston as a writer for its Level III practice exam.
Hard skills AND soft skills are essential in finance. Our MSF academic courses and opportunities will prepare you with hard skills, and I encourage you to take advantage of the CSE’s resources and programming to develop your soft skills. Weekly Case Practice with Geri Brehm and my Weekly Finance Coffee Chats will help you become comfortable analyzing and discussing market developments and business challenges. Top financial firms recruit early, and I will work with you on your resume and online profiles (LinkedIn and Handshake) so that you can apply for these positions.
I also encourage you to visit the Career Communities section of this site to access more information on industries such as Consulting, Business & Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Real Estate and Technology & Innovation.
