CSE Resume Templates

Instructions: Make a copy to edit in google docs or go to file>download>Microsoft Word Document to edit in Word.
Helpful Hint: To ensure your formatting is correct, try inputting your own information directly into the template!

Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance (MA): As outlined in the MA Resume Guide, you have two template options. You can use the MA General Template, or if you have a more technical background/are interested in data analyst roles, you can use the Alternate Data Analytics Template.

Master of Business Administration (MBA): As outlined in the MBA Resume Guide, you should use the MBA Template.

Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA): As outlined in the MSBA Resume Guide, you should use the MSBA Template.

Master of Science in Finance (MSF): As outlined in the MSF Resume Guide, you have two template options. You can use the MSF General Template, or if you have a more technical background/are interested in financial analyst roles, you can use the Alternate Technical Skills Template.

Accelerated Degrees

Accelerated MA (AccMA): As outlined in the MA Resume Guide, you have two template options. You can use the AccMA General Template, or if you have a more technical background/are interested in data analyst roles, you can use the Alternate Data Analytics Template.

Accelerated MBA (AccMBA): As outlined in the MBA Resume Guide, you should use the AccMBA Template.

Undergraduate Dual Degrees

CSE Resume Review Email Addresses

Starting June 15, 2023, Incoming Fall 2023 International Business School students will begin receiving communications (via email) regarding VMock and the CSE Resume Review Process. Please email globalcareers@brandeis.edu if you have any questions regarding the resume review process!

Incoming Fall 2023 Students – Resume Review Deadlines & Instructions

Assignment | CSE Resume Review (June 30 – August 10)

A CSE-approved Brandeis-format resume is your first step in business school career readiness. Approved resumes are included in the Brandeis International Business School Resume Book, and are required to apply for jobs/internships and register for Industry Treks or career-related events.

VMock Access: If you have not received an invite to join VMock, please contact globalcareers@brandeis.edu for assistance.

Step One: Due Friday, June 30, 2023

Create first draft of your Brandeis-format resume using VMock

After consulting your program’s resume template and guide for details, you will begin with VMock, our AI-based resume platform, to create your Brandeis-format resume and upload it for AI review. If you created your Brandeis email by June 15, a VMock invitation has been emailed to your Brandeis email account. Otherwise, please watch your Brandeis email for a VMock invitation within 48 business hours of creating your Brandeis email.

Step Two: Due Monday, July 10, 2023

Achieve VMock score of 85, then email to the CSE for review

You will edit and resubmit your Brandeis-format resume within VMock until you receive a VMock score of 85% (or have completed at least 4 submissions), and then you will email your updated resume as an attached Word (.doc/.docx) document to your program’s delegated email address for review:

Step Three: Due July 10 – August 10, 2023

Engage with the CSE Resume Review Team until your Career Coach approves your resume

Continuously exchange drafts and apply edits with the CSE Resume Review Team until your resume is “approved” by your Career Coach, and then complete final steps as instructed in the approval message. Approved resumes will be included in the Brandeis International Business School Resume Book.

One-on-one (Individual) Resume Review Assistance

Your Career Coach and other CSE staff are available to you for one-on-one resume review assistance via Handshake. We recommend that you complete at least Step One of the resume review process before scheduling an appointment.
